Friday 18 September: Last day Term 4 - 2.30 dismissal
Monday 5 October: Term 4 Commences
Friday 16 October: Last Day of Year 12 Classes
Friday 23 October: Year 12 Valedictory
Monday 26 October: VCAA exams commence
Monday 2 November: Pupil Free Day
Tuesday 3 November: Melbourne Cup (Public Holiday - Pupil Free Day)
Scholarships for students
The Department of Education manages a range of student scholarships. These are available for students who:
- complete Grade 4 to Year 11 in 2026
- are enrolled in Year 12 in 2026 and plan to do tertiary studies in 2027.
The department will evaluate applicants on their:
- academic achievement
- participation in school and community activities
- financial need.
Scholarships are either one-off payments or cover the duration of the student’s course.
Applications for these scholarships open on Thursday 1 October 2026 and close on Monday 1 February 2027.

Parents should always make contact with the General Office first when visiting the school or trying to make contact with their children.
Appointments with teachers must be made via telephone or email them directly using the Compass Parent App.
Homework Club
Every Monday and Thursday we run "Homework Club" in the College Library from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.
N.B Please check for any possible room changes on the day.
Absences
Student absences should be entered on the Compass Parent Portal by 8.45am.
Late arrival / Early departure to school
In order to minimise disruption to class and maximise learning opportunities for our students, we would like to remind you of the school policy regarding late arrival to school. Students are expected to be at school at 8:30am. A locker bell rings at 8:35am and class begins punctually at 8:45am. If your child is late for any reason, please enter in Compass or notify the school prior to the event by phone 9579 2322.
Students arriving late are required to go straight to class to be marked present.
Students leaving early are required to sign out at the General Office (Students will only be permitted to leave if there is a parent note entered in Compass).
Lost Property
Please ensure all school clothes, books and personal property are clearly labelled with the student’s name. Many items are not returned to their rightful owners because they are not labelled correctly or clearly.
All lost property is kept in the General Office.
