Arrowsmith

What a great end to our first term in the Arrowsmith Program.
The students have had camps, the House Swimming Event and Athletics Day. It is wonderful to see so many of our students competing in these extra-curricular events. Participation in such events helps to build confidence and sharpens social skills as they learn useful strategies for their future.
The students are all working consistently on their cognitive exercises and they are achieving their goals. It is pleasing and encouraging to see many students achieve their personal bests and masteries, early in the year.
Next term we will be organising an excursion to take a break from the intense cognitive program. There will also be an afternoon for the parents to come into Arrowsmith and work on some of the cognitive exercises. This opportunity will give parents a better understanding of the work that their children do in class and how to have conversations at home around these.
School finishes on Thursday the 3rd of April and Term 2 begins on Tuesday the 22nd of April.
We would like wish all our families an enjoyable term break and a Happy Easter to those celebrating.
