Exploring the Future with Digital Technology

Students from Years 6 to 10 have been actively engaging with the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through our Digital Technology program. These interactive lessons provided hands-on opportunities to explore how technology is shaping industries and solving real-world problems.

Across the year levels, students developed foundational skills in:

  • AI and machine learning
  • Data collection, analysis, and pattern recognition
  • Sequencing, loops, and conditionals
  • Pattern Recognition and Data Sets
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Sensors (input/output), Automation, and Coding
  • Block-Based Coding and Debugging

One highlight was the exploration of Sustainable Farming, where students examined how machine learning supports agricultural productivity in developing countries. They worked with satellite data, learned about predictive models, and explored ethical implications of AI in global contexts.

Through these rich learning experiences, students built critical thinking and problem-solving skills — while gaining a deeper understanding of how digital technologies are transforming the world around them.
