We have lots of exciting updates to share with you! 

 

NAPLAN Success 

Our Year 7 and 9 students have successfully completed their NAPLAN testing, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all who participated! We will be reviewing the results and using them to continue supporting each student's learning journey. 

 

Minimum Standards Testing 

In the coming weeks, we will be starting the Minimum Standards testing with the Year 10 cohort to ensure that all students meet the required literacy and numeracy benchmarks.  

 

Homework Centre Update 

We are pleased to report that the Homework Centre (TASC) continues to run smoothly, providing invaluable support to students who need help with their schoolwork. TASC is open every Thursday from 2:00 – 3:00pm and we encourage all students to make the most of this fantastic resource. Week 10 is the last TASC session for this term, but it will recommence Week 2 of Term 2, 8th May.  

 

Book Battle Update: Staff vs. Students 

The Book Battle is heating up, with staff and students going head-to-head in this friendly competition! The final entries are due by the end of Week 10, and we will be tallying up the scores soon after. We are planning a celebratory event in Week 11 for all participants, so keep your ears open for more information - it’s going to be a great time! 

 

Year 7 Meet the Teacher Night: 

We are thrilled to report that the Year 7 Meet the Teacher Night was a great success! It was wonderful to see so many parents and faculty members come together to discuss the progress and current achievements of our Year 7 students. The evening provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school, ensuring we continue to support our students’ growth and success.

Short Story Writing Competition – Term 2 

Get ready for some creative fun in Term 2! We are excited to announce a Short Story Writing Competition, with lots of prizes up for grabs. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their writing talents. Keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon! Don’t forget to keep reading though, the Book Battle leaderboard will be reset for a fresh round of competitive reading. 

 

2026 Enrichment Enrolment  

Wednesday 9th April - Information session for families wishing to apply for the Year 7, 2026, Enrichment class. Please choose from either the 4pm or 5:30 pm session via the QR booking code in the flyer below.
