Year 4 News

What a full and exciting Week 3 we have had in our classroom! With our STEM incursion to our Mother’s Day Celebrations. We have had a wonderful time!
Last week, students enjoyed an exciting STEM incursion with Mr Frazzetto. They designed and built their own rockets before heading outside for the big launch. The excitement was huge as rockets soared high into the sky and travelled incredible distances, some even flew right out of the school! It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience, and the children had an absolute blast creating, testing and launching their rockets.
We loved welcoming our mums and special visitors to our Mother’s Day Open Morning. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast together before sharing in a special photo slideshow filled with wonderful memories. Back in the classroom, students were excited to spend time with their mums, taking part in fun activities and creating special moments together.
As a Catholic Learning Community we have been exploring the scripture story The Road to Emmaus, students have been reading and interpreting this scripture and making connections to the story. We also engaged in our first singing lesson, learning two new songs for our mass’ and liturgies.
