The teenage years bring a new stage in your young person’s development and many changes for the whole family…
Living with Young People is a FREE 2-part workshop that helps you as parents and caregivers build an understanding of your teenager and their healthy development.
Topics include: About young people, Adolescent development, What parents can do to support their young person, What about conflict?, and A positive approach to guiding behaviour
Attendees must be able to attend all three workshops on the following dates:
17th June 5:00pm-7:00pm
24th June 5:30pm-7:00pm
Our workshops are based on the latest parenting research and use information from Parenting SA. The workshop is also being offered in partnership with Families Growing Together. Light refreshments available.

If you’re keen to take the big leap and move out of home but unsure where to start, ‘Transition to Independent Living’ session on Tuesday June 25 is just for you. We’ll walk through your rights as a renter, navigating My Gov and applying for Centrelink ‘Youth Allowance’ and discuss some of the handy tips you should know before moving out with your mates.

‘Habits Made Healthy’ is a collaboration with Noarlunga Aquatic & Recreation Centre and Healthy Lifestyles Onkaparinga –young people will learn the ins and outs of gym equipment, learn new workout routines and how to kickstart some healthy habits of their own when it comes to nutrition and exercise! Each session has a ten-person limit (you only need to book into one!) and we will also throw in a free gym pass and some wellness journals for the first FIVE of you to book in – so take that first step to a healthier you and book today!
