This week in Foundation we celebrated World Kindness Day! 💛Students took time to think about their classmates and wrote something kind about their peers. It was heartwarming to see the smiles as they shared thoughtful words and recognised the kindness in one another. Our classroom was filled with positivity and encouragement — a lovely reminder of how powerful small acts of kindness can be!

In our gardening sessions, students explored the beauty of nature through flower pressing. They collected flowers from our school garden (and a few extras that were supplied) to create unique designs on calico fabric. After arranging their flowers, they carefully folded the calico and used a tool to press them. The best part was the big reveal — students were amazed to see the vibrant, natural patterns that appeared!

Can you believe we are halfway through our last term of Prep! We are both so proud of how much growth we are seeing from everyone. Remember to keep up that reading and get early nights. It is a really long term, and students can start to feel really tired as we come to the end of the year.
