SAKG Prep J and Prep A

 

In the kitchen, we have prepared, cooked and shared:

 

  • Alphabet grissini

  • Flowerpot bread

  • Potato and rosemary pizzas

  • Pumpkin and feta pizzas

  • Seeded flatbread

  • Seasonal mini frittatas

  • Salad of the imagination

  • Rhubarb muffins

 

In the garden, both classes have:

  • Planted seeds in trays and directly into garden beds

  • Planted seedlings of sugar snap peas, sunflowers, parsley, chives, and onions

  • Raked leaves to add to our compost bins

  • General maintenance of the garden beds such as weeding

  • Harvested rosemary, thyme, silverbeet and flowers

  • Watered vegetables growing in garden beds

  • Created colourful artwork on calico, using flowers and leaves to stain the fabric
