Small Towns Project
Thank you to those that completed the small towns project survey earlier in the year. On Friday it was our turn to meet with the team which included- a Paediatrician, Mental Health Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, and a Community Development Officer. Throughout the year, they have been visiting small or remote towns across the Loddon Mallee Southern Campaspe region with the goal of understanding and actioning how to best meet the needs of children up to 11 years old- such as access and availability of services, what types of services, etc. It was a great opportunity and the team have also shared some resources that we will include in the newsletter. To begin, here's an update of an earlier share that may be useful...
World Kindness Day
World kindness day is recognised on the 13th of November, it's a day to remind ourselves about being kind to each other, to ourself, and to the world. By promoting and celebrating acts of kindness, this day serves as a reminder of the positive impact that kindness can have on individuals, communities, and the world at large. It encourages people to perform intentional acts of kindness and foster a culture of compassion and generosity.
