VISUAL ART

The Art Room is Buzzing with Creativity!
The art room is coming alive each week with pops of colour, polka dots, patterns, paint, and curiosity as students dive deeper into their artmaking. Together, we continue to develop new skills, explore a range of materials, and collaborate to maintain a creative and functional workspace for everyone.
Our Prep students are working diligently on their cactus artworks and are getting to the spiky end of things now! Year 1 students are ready to immerse their skies in vibrant colour, while our Year 2/3 artists are learning valuable assembling and presentation skills as they prepare their Kusama-inspired works for display. The Year 4/5 students are waving goodbye to their Great Wave illustrations and are excited to embark on their next artistic challenge.
Our Year 6 students recently participated in their Leadership Day and created a special piece for graduation. They are also designing name-inspired artworks to showcase their individuality in a unique way for the upcoming Art Show.
The much-anticipated Lancefield Primary Town Christmas Tree has arrived, and students across all year levels have been collaborating to create recycled decorations that reflect our community’s creative spirit. The room is a buzz of energy and imagination as we count down to presenting our artwork at the End-of-Year Art Show - Concert.
“In the midst of chaos, there is art — and through art, we find calm.”
