Hello everyone,

A big thank you to the parents/carers who took the opportunity to attend the Family Connect sponsored Writing Workshop held on Tuesday 14th September; the evening was well attended, and we would like to thank Janelle Santolin for facilitating this great opportunity.

The workshop provided parents/carers tools and ideas on how to support your child with writing in the College environment. Attendees came away knowing process and language used and having micro skills to assist at home.

Education is and always will be a two-way street (parents/carers and teachers) and we all have our part to play so please attend these sponsored parent engagement sessions as we work with the College to make them happen. 

No meeting was held in August due to the Dr Kristy Goodwin session which was via Zoom with good numbers of parents on-line; additionally, the College has made the presentation available via the parent portal for those who were unable to attend.

Family Connect would like to thank Alison Krause, Assistant Principal Community Engagement and Marketing for her support and guidance to Family Connect throughout 2021; Alison is shortly to commence a well-deserved break which we hope she enjoys!

Our next Family Connect Meeting will be held until Tuesday 19th October 2021 at 5.15pm in the College Library with our AGM to be held in November.
