Raymond East Awarded Associate of Music

Congratulations to Raymond East (Year 12) who has been successful in achieving his Associate in Music Diploma (AMus) from the Australian Music Examination Board. 

Raymond was required to prepare a 40 minute violin recital, which he memorised, and perform for a panel of two senior examiners from Brisbane. He then completed an interview where he had to demonstrate his knowledge and understanding of his repertoire, musical history and the development of the violin.

Only outstanding candidates pass these prestigious exams, which is equivalent to an undergraduate tertiary qualification.

Raymond has been a student of the St Mary's Instrumental Music Program since Year 2 and is commended for his efforts throughout this journey.
