Introducing House Leaders

Hello, my name is Jamie De Smit. I am the house leader of Blue House at McGuire Campus, in Neighbourhood 3. I am a Health and Physical Education teacher currently teaching Year’s 7 and 8. I’m really enjoying getting to know all the new students as well as seeing some friendly faces from last year. 

I am the Orange house leader. I also teach year 7 Health and Physical Education and year 12 health and human development and VET sport and recreation. Daniel Johnson

Forest Green (Swimming Champions!) I teach Year 7 Humanities, Year 11 History and the Year 11 and 12 AVID program. I’m really pleased with how the members of my house have started this year. Kathryn Keen

My name is Kristen Pritchett and I am the Yellow House Leader at the McGuire Campus. In addition I teach Year 7 science, Year 8 Maths and am the Year 11Z Learning Mentor.  

Julie commenced at Shepparton High School as a Laboratory Technician and has since moved on to teaching. Julie is the House Leader of Red House, as well as teaching Year 7 Maths and Science.

I grew up in Shepparton and studied at the University of Melbourne. I have been at the McGuire Campus since 1991(!) and I have seen many changes at the school. I am passionate about education and excited about the new era of Secondary Education in Shepparton and the advantages it will bring to our students. I particularly enjoy Languages & Geography, so our Educational Tours of Italy have certainly been highlights in my career.  When I am not at school I enjoy my family time as well as cooking, reading, films, the Opera and the Tennis! I am currently enjoying my role as TEAL House leader, working with an energetic and caring team and getting to know each of the students. I am Georgie Schofield and the House Leader of Lime House at McGuire. I teach Year 12 EAL, English, VCAL Year 11 and 12 Literacy.

Prior to his move to the McGuire Campus Leigh McIntyre taught at Shepparton High School for more than twenty years! Leigh now teaches Year 7 Science and Year 12 Biology and is the Purple House Leader.

My name Is Daniel Napolitano and I’m the Navy Blue House Leader. I am a PE/Health teacher and I teach year 7 Physical Education and Year 11/12 Health and Human Development.
