Year 7 Music

To finish off the first month of the new school year, all year 7 students participated in a Taiko drumming session.  The Taiko Sensei was able to lead the students to practise self-discipline and work as a team. By the end of the fifty-minute session, students had picked up the drumming technique and were able to perform a number of different rhythms in an arrangement of 40 Taiko drums. The students’ focus and ability to drum together as a team revealed their tremendous capabilities to achieve.
