Hi, my name is Trish Walker. This is my 25th year at the Wanganui site, with the first 18 years of my time here spent in Student Support as an aide, then as the Student Support Coordinator (assisting students with additional needs).  For the past six years I have been a Junior School Coordinator and Maths teacher. This year I have taken on the role of Teal House Leader (Neighbourhood 1), as  well as Learning Mentor of 8Y and teacher of Maths at Years 8 and 10.

Hello GSSC! My name is Scott Ilsley, and I’m lucky enough to be helping out in Forest House. I was previously at Mooroopna Secondary College, and before then, Robinvale P-12 College. I’m teaching a range of classes full of great students! I have found the staff exceptionally friendly at the Wanganui Campus, and I have settled in well. My office is always welcoming of students, whether you need help with something or to say hello. I’m looking forward to meeting all the students across Forest House. Scott Ilsley

Red House Leader. I'm enjoying working with the Red house staff, and am looking forward to getting to know the  Red house students too. I teach Psychology and Sociology, and this year, Geography. I am also working with the Students Representative Council to make sure that students are able to have their say and make positive contributions to our community.  Myf Saxton

Hi, my name is Robyn Hough and I am the House Leader of Navy House. I also teach Health, PE and Legal Studies. I enjoy playing footy for the Mooroopna Cats Women’s team and go for Geelong FC!

I’m an English teacher at GSSC but in the past I have also taught History and Drama. Before coming to the Wanganui campus of GSSC, I spent two years at  McGuire College where I was also the Year 10 co-ordinator in 2018 and Year 9 co-ordinator in 2019. I love bushwalking. In 2015 I walked the Kokoda Track which was really hard going but as a History buff was a great experience. In 2017 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and literally stood on the roof of Africa. Last year I walked to Macha Pichu in Peru and next year I plan to do a walk (Coronavirus permitting) around Mount Blanc  in France. Vince Branigan
