General Info

  • Gym Games are held in the BSC Gymnasium every Thursday lunchtime from 1pm
  • Run Club is on every Wednesday lunchtime from 1pm, meet at the bus shelter
  • Blue Edge runs each Friday from period 4, through until the end of lunchtime (selected students)
  • Make It Happen runs from 1:00-1:30pm each lunchtime in N5
  • Friendly reminder that only school approved hats are to be worn at school and no hats are to be worn inside

L2P Program

The L2P Program, an initiative of the TAC, aims to reduce the road toll through enabling young drivers, aged between 16 and 20 years of age, to spend more time behind the wheel. The program specifically targets students who already have a Learner Permit, however have limited access to a vehicle or a supervising driver.

BSC are committed to helping our young drivers where possible and with the assistance of the L2P trainers, 4 of our staff are now qualified as supervising drivers. GWR Cross Country Results

BSC sent six competitors down to the GWR Cross Country held in Warrnambool earlier this week. All students showed great resilience, especially considering the extremely unpleasant conditions on the day. Of the six, Tom Lyons placed 3rd in the 15U Boys and Ella Kerr placed 10th in the 14U Girls, with both progressing to the next round in Yarra Glen. Other placings were as follows:

Billy Welsh 13U Boys23rd Place

Tom Grant 13U Boys 25th Place

Jet Kerr 15U Boys 24th Place

Intermediate Girls Netball Competition

 

On Tuesday 31st May we had a team of 9/10 girls head to the Llanberris Netball Centre to compete in the Intermediate Girls Netball Competition. The team put in a tremendous effort and showed great sportsmanship on the day.

CSEF Closing Soon

CSEF- Camps, Sports and Excursions Funds

Applications close on the 24th June 2022.

 

The CSEF is an annual payment to the school to be used towards camps, sports and/or excursion expenses for the benefit of the eligible student.

To be eligible: a parent or legal guardian of a student attending a Secondary school must:

  1. Hold a Veterans Affairs Gold Card or be an eligible Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) OR Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) OR
  2. Be a temporary Foster parent AND
  3. Submit an application to the school by the due date

Payment Amounts:

Secondary School students      $225 per year

The CSEF is paid directly to your child’s school and will be allocated by the school towards camps, sports and/or excursion costs for you child.

The school will require a copy of your current Health Care Card

School Immunisations
