Food From Afar

With such an immense variety of culturally diverse food on offer throughout the country, it is important that we understand where particular flavours and foods originated and what makes them unique.
Our Year 11 Food Studies class are currently investigating migration patterns to Australia and have this week focussed on the influence of immigrants on Australian food tastes and consumption.
This weeks dish had a distinctly Asian influence, with students cooking either a pork or chicken stir-fry with soba noodles. From the food prep to the finished product, each stage looked incredibly appetising!
