Premiers' Reading Challenge
BNPS is once again participating in the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge. We will join many other schools in encouraging children to read and enjoy sharing books.
Students in Years 3 to 6 are expected to participate, and Year 2 students have the option of participating. More information will be sent out next term but, in the meantime, the upcoming holidays are a great opportunity for making a head-start on your reading. Please note that any books read this term can also be included. Happy reading!

School Photos – Expected Delivery & Late Orders
Please note that it is expected that School Photos will be delivered to BNPS within 4 – 6 weeks and will be sent home with your child as soon as they have been received. Student ID photos will be uploaded as your child’s Compass profile picture as soon as they have been received.
An individual portrait and class group photo was taken for all students who were present. Orders for these photos can be placed ONLINE until 29 March 2019 (late fees apply after this date).
Photos of Student Leaders (all Captains and Junior Council Representatives) will be taken on Wednesday 5 June and the Year 6 Graduation photo will be taken on Monday 14 October.
School Photo Volunteers
Organising student photos, in particular photos with siblings (who need to be collected individually from their classrooms) is an enormous task! A HUGE thank you to the following parents who answered the call for volunteers to assist on School Photo Day – they did countless laps around the school and ensured all children were as neat and tidy as possible (not an easy job when there are 680 students!).

Premier's Active April - Have You Registered?
This is a Victorian Government initiative which encourages all Victorians to do 30 minutes of activity each day during April. We hope that many families can embrace this initiative outside of school with the aim of incorporating physical activity into daily routines.

Sign Up Now for TERM 2 Canteen!
Please CLICK/TAP HERE to sign up for Term 2, 2019 Canteen duty so the roster is ready to go! Remember Mums, Dads, grandparents and friends are all welcome to volunteer for Canteen duty (as long as they have a Working With Children Check)! The children love seeing their family members at recess and lunchtime!

Uniform Shop Thank You!

Entertainment Memberships - Order Now in Time for the School Holidays!
Please CLICK/TAP HERE to securely order your Hardcopy Book or Digital Membership (Apple or Android) online. Remember there are great savings on everyday purchases, dining, travel and activities (great for school holidays) and $14 of each $70 membership goes directly to our school. Vouchers valid until 1 June 2020.
Digital Memberships available immediately via the App upon payment. Hardcopy Book Memberships will be sent home or can be collected from the Office. A sample book will be available at the Office soon if you would like to check it out.
