Shrek the Musical

This year’s College Musical, Shrek the Musical opens this week for five performances. Featuring a cast of over 50 students led by Lachlan T, Jasmine E, Angelique C and Sieglind M, it follows the story of our all-time favourite character Shrek, as he navigates his way through abandonment, friendship and true love.

An amazing band of students and staff, led by Musical Director Ms Robyn Cole, play their way through the score. They are supported by a further 20 students and staff who are working behind the scenes to pull it all together, including hair, makeup and backstage crew.

Impressive choreography has been prepared by our very own Mrs Donna Rowe-Campbell. Direction by Mr Jevon Scandrett brings together all the magic and joy this show deserves.

All tickets are $22 each or a group/family of four ticket is $80 (plus booking fee).

Performances are at 7:30pm on July 21, 22 and 28 as well as a 4pm matinee on July 27 and a final 2pm show on Saturday July 29. Tickets can be booked at https://www.trybooking.com/CHXBY up to one hour prior to each performance. Or tickets are available at the door for $24 each or $90 for a group of four.

The making of this musical has been a truly special journey, and there’s nothing students and staff would love more than for you to bring your whole family along to join in on the fun. The College Musical is one of the largest cultural events of our year and a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing students in Performing Arts while gathering as a College community. It is suitable for the whole family and is sure to leave you singing in the car the whole way home.
