Precious Plastics (call out for plastic bottle tops) 

Aitken College has acquired an innovative, small-scale recycling system to inspire and empower environmentally aware minds whilst also investigating creative solutions to reducing waste and exploring the concept of the circular economy. Through a hands-on and practical approach, the precious plastics program will enhance STEM Learning at our school by turning plastic bottle tops into useful products.

The school is seeking support from the local community in the way of plastic bottle tops, in particular HDPE 2 and HDPE 4 lids. The College has set up collection points in Cumberland Village and the Staffroom Verandah.
