🚸Road Safety Around Our School

Our school is a busy place, especially before and after the bell. Many children walk, ride, or are dropped off by car each day.We all have a part to play in keeping everyone safe.

Please take extra care when driving near the school. The speed limit in school zones is 40 km/h. Slowing down gives you more time to see children who may step out suddenly or cross the road unexpectedly.

🛑 Help Keep Everyone Safe

• Use the school crossing. Always wait for the supervisor’s signal before crossing.
• Drive slowly in school zones. Be alert for children and families walking or riding.
• Park only in marked areas. Avoid double-parking or stopping in “no stopping” zones.
• Be patient and courteous. A few extra seconds can make a big difference.
• Teach children safe habits. Remind them to stop, look both ways, listen, and never run across the road.
