Round 2️⃣ Leon Ioppolo Medal 🏅👏

In loving memory of Leon Ioppolo, an Old Boy of the College who was in Year 12 in 2005 when he sadly passed away. A much-loved son of Joanne and Tony, and a cherished brother to Simon and Justine, Leon had a deep love for his family, his friends, and football.He began his junior career with the Lesmurdie Saints before continuing at Mazenod Junior Football Club, where he embraced the game alongside his mates playing hard, strong, and with true determination.

Following his passing, the Football Club, together with Joanne and Tony, established the Leon Ioppolo Medal to honour Leon’s passion for football and the way he played with courage, grit, and team spirit.

Congratulations to #9 Ben McG, this year’s Leon Ioppolo Medallist. He was presented with a Burley football and will officially receive his medal at the Club presentation. 💪💙🤍🏉

Round 3 was a special one! We celebrated Mother’s Day and Umpire Appreciation Round all in one weekend. 🌸👏A big thank you to all the mums who support our club week in, week out. We wouldn’t be the same without you! And a shoutout to our umpires for everything you do to keep the game going. You are appreciated! 🙌
