Year 10 Social at Rollerrama

On Wednesday, 6 May, Year 10 students joined students from St Brigid’s College for an evening of roller skating at Rollerrama in Kalamunda. It was a wonderful opportunity for the boys to connect with each other and with students from St Brigid’s in a relaxed, fun environment outside the classroom.

Rollerrama was a great venue. The atmosphere was relaxed and the vibe was just right for the cohort. Some of the boys took to the rink immediately with confidence and skill. Others kept trying, picking themselves up time and time again. Some students were happy to sit on the couches to chat and enjoy each other’s company. It was pleasing to see the boys laugh together, support each other on skates and mix easily with students from St Brigid’s.

A sincere thank you to the staff from both Mazenod and St Brigid’s who gave up their evening to supervise and support the event, to the staff at Rollerrama for their hospitality and to the families who ensured their sons arrived and were collected promptly.

We look forward to the next social event later in the year.
