RECOURCE CENTRE

Resource Centre Update

As another busy term comes to an end, the Resource Centre continues to be a vibrant hub of learning, creativity, and connection. It has been wonderful to see so many students making the most of the space and the opportunities it provides.

Riddle of the Day has been a fantastic success, with students eagerly stopping by each day to test their thinking and problem-solving skills. Thank you to everyone who participated—we loved seeing your enthusiasm and friendly competition!

Our new Library Self-Service Kiosk has been embraced by students, and it has been fantastic to see so many confidently borrowing independently. Thank you to everyone for taking such great care of our library resources.

The Student Showcase Wall is filling quickly with outstanding work from students across all year levels. It has been wonderful to celebrate the incredible learning, creativity, and achievements happening throughout our school. Thank you to all staff who have contributed displays—our students are incredibly proud to see their work showcased for the whole school community.

The World Cup Club, held in the Projection Room during lunchtime, has been a huge success. Students have enjoyed coming together to cheer on their favourite teams, build new friendships, and share their love of football in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We are also excited to introduce our new Dyslexia-Friendly Book Collection alongside our New Release Book Stand. These collections provide engaging reading opportunities for all students and make it even easier to discover a great new book.

Watch this space! We have some exciting new initiatives, displays, clubs, and resources planned for next term, and we can't wait to share them with you. There are plenty of exciting changes coming to the Resource Centre, so stay tuned!

A huge thank you to our dedicated Library Leaders and Library Assistants. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to help every day make a real difference. From shelving books and assisting students to supporting library events and keeping the Resource Centre running smoothly, your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to our entire school community for helping make the Resource Centre a welcoming, inclusive, and exciting place for everyone. We look forward to another fantastic term of reading, learning, and celebrating student success!
