PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

As we conclude Term 2 and Semester 1, it is an excellent opportunity to reflect on the many achievements and successes across our school community. This term has been filled with opportunities for students to learn, challenge themselves and connect with others through a wide range of academic, sporting and enrichment experiences. A significant milestone was the successful completion of the Year 9 and Year 10 examination period, which provided students with valuable experience in preparing for and participating in formal assessment processes. Staff have also been working diligently to finalise semester reports and engage in professional collaboration to ensure that student achievement and progress are accurately reflected.

Beyond the classroom, our students have embraced an impressive range of opportunities that have enriched their educational experiences. Highlights this term included participation in the Optus Digital Thumbprint program, our highly successful Koorie Incursion, language-based excursions and incursions, and various sporting events and experiences, including ice-skating activities. Student participation and engagement in our Sporting Academies also continue to grow, with these programs making a significant contribution to student wellbeing, motivation and school connectedness. Another exciting achievement this term has been the opening of our new learning spaces, which provide modern and engaging environments that will support teaching and learning for many years to come. I would like to sincerely thank our staff, students and families for their ongoing support, dedication and contributions throughout the semester. I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to another successful term ahead in Term 3.
