LANGUAGES

A Term of Culture, Connection and Real-World Learning

It has been an exciting term in Languages, with students taking their language learning beyond the classroom through engaging cultural experiences.

Japanese

Year 7 and 8 Japanese students recently celebrated the end of their semester of Japanese studies with a cultural excursion to Brunswick East. Students watched the beloved Japanese animated film My Neighbour Totoro at Cinema Nova before enjoying an authentic Japanese bento lunch at Matsumoto Japanese Restaurant. The excursion provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience Japanese language and culture beyond the classroom, and they returned to school with positive memories of the day.
