Year 9 Careers - My Career Insights – Morrisby Profiling

The Department of Education gives every year 9 Victorian Government school student free access to the world-leading Morrisby online career education tool. Morrisby helps your child make informed choices for senior secondary school and beyond by exploring their strengths, interests and career opportunities. The My Career Insights program pairs your child's Morrisby profile with a free one-on-one expert career consultant session, supported by the Australian Centre for Career Education. This is an important opportunity in Year 9. It will help your child update their career action plan, make big decisions and stay motivated to learn. 

As a school, we need your consent to give your child access to Morrisby. There are three options for consent: 

Option 1: opt in to the full My Career Insight program (Morrisby profile and 1:1 career session) 

Option 2: No response - if we do not hear back from parents/guardians for consent, your child will have access to a modified Morrisby profile and no 1:1 career session 

Option 3: opt out of the My Career Insight and your child will not have access to My Career Insight program.

An event has been created on compass for you to be able to provide consent for your child to participate. Year 9 students will be undertaking the Morrisby profiling in Term 2.
