Respectful Relationships Education at Sacred Heart Primary School

As part of the Victorian Curriculum, all students at Sacred Heart Primary School participate in the Respectful Relationships program. Respectful Relationships education is a core component of the curriculum from Foundation to Year 12 and is mandatory for Victorian schools. The program aims to promote respect, equality, resilience, positive relationships, and social and emotional learning across the school community. [vic.gov.au], [vcaa.vic.edu.au]

Wellbeing Hub Open During Break Times

Our Wellbeing Hub continues to provide students with a calm and welcoming space during break times. The hub offers a range of quiet activities including colouring in, chess and board games, giving students the opportunity to enjoy some downtime away from the busy playground environment.

The Wellbeing Hub is a wonderful option for students who may be looking for a quieter space to relax, connect with friends, practise strategic thinking through games, or simply recharge before returning to class.

🛡️ Child Safe Standards Spotlight Week 5

Standard 8: Child Safety Knowledge, Skills and Awareness

Our staff and volunteers receive ongoing training to ensure they understand their responsibilities in keeping children safe. This helps maintain a strong culture of vigilance, awareness and child-safe practice throughout our school.

Standard 9: Physical and Online Environments Promote Safety and Wellbeing

We work to create safe physical and online environments that minimise opportunities for harm while encouraging positive learning and development. Child safety considerations are incorporated into all aspects of school life.

"Sacred Heart Primary School is committed to promoting and maintaining a child-safe environment where all children are respected, protected and empowered."
