Building Confidence Through Speaking Skills

Our Spanish and Japanese students have been developing their speaking and communication skills through a range of interactive activities this term. Students have been practising conversations, dialogues and presentations, working both independently and with their peers.

In Spanish, students have been building their confidence by using familiar vocabulary and structures to communicate about themselves, their families and their house. In Japanese, students have been developing their ability to communicate in familiar contexts and share personal information using Japanese.

It has been fantastic to see students taking risks, speaking in the target language and building their confidence as they develop their language skills.
