What’s Been Cooking This Term 🍳

It’s been a busy and exciting term in Food Technology for our Year 7, 8 and 10 students!

Our Year 7s have been learning basic recipes 

and building a solid foundation in kitchen safety, hygiene, and cooking skills — all while having lots of fun discovering their love for cooking!

Year 8s have been learning about the process of food and fibres - exploring where the things we eat and wear come from. They’ve even coloured their own T-shirts using natural dyes made from fruits and vegetables - so creative!

And our Year 10s have taken their skills to the next level, showing off impressive professionalism and sharing the knowledge they’ve built over the years. Their focus this term, “Food Around the World,” has taken them on a journey through global flavours, exploring cultural influences and cooking two delicious dishes from each country studied.

It’s been wonderful seeing students work together, stay focused, and take pride in everything they create, both in and out of the kitchen!
