Year 10 Work Related Skills BBQ Fundraiser

On Thursday 13th November, the Year 10 Work Related Skills class held a successful BBQ at lunchtime in front of the library, raising an impressive $325.65 for the MATW Palestine Emergency Relief Fund.

Students demonstrated outstanding teamwork, planning and commitment in the weeks leading up to the event to ensure everything ran smoothly and efficiently on the day. Through this experience, they developed valuable skills in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), event management, marketing, food handling, and the spirit of teamwork. 

A big thank you to the Work Related Skills class for their hard work and dedication particularly Jack Mazzucco, Omar Ahmed and Ibby Sabbouh for cooking the delicious sausages and feeding the ravenous appetites of students and staff! As the WRS class, we very much appreciated the staff and students who supported the cause by donating and purchasing on the day. Your generosity made this event a great success!
