Senior School Report 

This was a very busy term in Senior School.

The semester ended, a stack of work was completed for SACs, SATs and Work requirements. Year 11s sat exams. Their behaviour was excellent across the board and students gained valuable experience in focus and sustained reading and writing.

The GAT

Year 11 VCE VM students and all students completing VCE 3/4 units completed the GAT. Attendance and behaviour were excellent, and supervisors complimented this cohort as being the best they’d seen. For lunch, students had a BBQ cooked by Mr Yilmaz and cupcakes baked by Ms Fitzpatrick, all served by Ms Di Marco.

Year 12 Formal

Year 12 students dressed up in their finest for the 2026 formal at the beautiful Lincoln of Toorak. MC’d by Shabana and Grace, the night was a joyful celebration of who we are together. Joel and Jennifer won the coveted best dressed awards and Ms Gomez led dozens of teaching and support staff and students on the dance floor. The food was excellent, the decorations were lovely and the night ran smoothly, thanks to the student leadership group, Grace and Mr Yilmaz.

Heading into next term, Year 12 students will face their most intense period of learning, as they complete their last semester of classes before sitting exams, or completing their micro credentialling courses.  Year 11 students are invited to step up into the planning for next year, with meetings to discuss the design, timelines and costing for their year 12 jackets. A camp or day activities to build teamwork and cohesion in 2027’s Year 12 group is also being discussed and surveys will go out next term to gauge student interest.

The Senior Team thanks students, carers and parents for their continued support and we hope everyone has a safe, warm and restful break.
