Middle School Report

Our Middle School students have successfully completed their Semester 1 studies, including their examination period. We are incredibly proud of the way every student approached this important time. Their commitment, organisation, and positive attitude were evident, not only during the exams, but also in the preparation leading up to them, with students developing study notes, planning revision schedules and establishing effective study routines.

This week, our Year 10 students have commenced their Work Experience placements. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Toula and the Impact team for their valuable support in helping our students secure meaningful and worthwhile workplace experiences. These opportunities provide students with the chance to explore future pathways, develop new skills and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

As Semester 1 draws to a close, our focus now turns towards course counselling and subject selection for 2027. This is a particularly important time for our Year 10 students, as they prepare to transition from Middle School into the Senior School. Making informed choices about future subjects and pathways is an important step in supporting each student’s goals and aspirations.

To assist families with this process, we will be hosting two compulsory information evenings next term for students and parents/guardians:

• Year 10 to Year 11 Information Night Wednesday 15 July6:00pm – 7:00pm PAC

• Year 9 to Year 10 Information Night Wednesday 22 July6:00pm – 7:00pm PAC

   

These evenings are compulsory, as important information will be shared regarding the subject selection process, available pathways and guidance on choosing the most appropriate course options for each student in 2027.

Students are expected to attend with a parent or guardian, as we believe it is essential that families are fully informed and equipped to make the best possible decisions for their child’s future.
