Wellbeing Moments

Welcome to our Wellbeing Moment: a chance to pause for a minute and reflect on something small but important. There’s nothing you need to do – just take from it whatever feels useful to you.
This week’s focus is Handling Bad Days.
Bad days are a normal part of life. Everyone has them. Sometimes things feel heavier than usual. You might feel more tired, more frustrated or like small things are getting under your skin more than they normally would. A bad day doesn’t mean everything is going wrong. Often it just means you’re human.
On bad days it can help to remember:
Feelings change.
One day doesn’t define your week.
Tomorrow is a chance to reset.
Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is lower the pressure a little. It might look like:
Getting through the day one class at a time.
Taking a short break and resetting.
Talking to a friend or someone you trust.
Reminding yourself that the feeling will pass.
Most bad days do exactly that – they pass.
And if you ever want someone to talk to, you’re always welcome to check in with your Head of Year or our College Psychologists.
