Industry & Enterprise – Excursion

Last week, our Year 10 Industry & Enterprise students had the opportunity to visit the Alstom/Downer Rail Maintenance site in Wanneroo. The excursion provided valuable insight into Perth’s public transport system, including train maintenance and the future of rail in Western Australia. Students also engaged with industry professionals, learning about emerging career pathways and future job opportunities.

The day continued at the Construction Training Centre, where students explored a variety of pathways within the Building and Construction industry through hands-on activities. The boys demonstrated excellent curiosity, asked insightful questions and were highly engaged throughout the experience. We look forward to our Term Two excursion to Alcoa.
