Child Safety at ENPS
Information for families and the school community
Essendon North Primary School is committed to providing an environment where students are safe and feel safe.
Our child safety framework includes policies, codes and procedures that explain how we support and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students and protect them from harm. These documents are available on our website.
We are also committed to continuous improvement of our child safety framework. We are currently reviewing the following school policies, including child safety policies and practices in alignment with updated PROTECT guidance, to ensure they are up-to-date and effective:
Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures (2024-2026) (*to be renamed Child Abuse (including grooming) – Identification and Response Policy and Procedures)
Our students and families are important partners in this process. We welcome feedback from families and members of our school community on ways we can further strengthen our child safety policies, procedures and practices.
If you have any suggestions, comments or questions, please contact our Assistant Principal, Alice McKenzie on 9379 3979 or via email.
