Year Three to Six Athletics Carnival

Our Year Three to Six Athletics Carnival days took place last week at the Moonee Valley Athletics Track.

We were very fortunate to have perfect conditions, on both days, and it was exciting to see the students getting involved and enjoying the events! Both days were a huge success thanks to the amazing effort of all our Year Three to Six students, along with the help from parents, teachers and support staff.

All students competed in both field and track events and we congratulate all of them for showing persistence, wonderful sportsmanship, and contributing to the overall House Points on the day.

The winning House was Biik. Congratulations!

Divisional Cross Country

Congratulations to Sophia (4CT), Frankie (6CG), Miller (6GU) and Ibrahim (5AC) on their outstanding performances at the Divisional Cross Country. All students represented our school with determination, resilience, and excellent sportsmanship as they competed against some of the best runners from across the division.

Their hard work and dedication paid off, with both Sophia and Ibrahim achieving fantastic results and qualifying for the Regional Cross Country Event. This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the effort they have put into their training and racing throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and wish them all the very best as they take on the next stage of competition at Regionals. Well done, Sophia and Ibrahim!

Year Six Interschool Sports

Throughout Term Two our Year Six students competed in a series of sports matches against other schools in our district. Students involved were undertaking training during school to prepare for the season. It was terrific to see so many students supporting each other within their teams and giving it their all whilst demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout. The improvement every team made from the beginning of the season to the end was great to see!

Congratulations to all students who participated in our Interschool sports. A big thank you to the teachers for coaching and supporting our students throughout the season.
