A Message from your Junior School Council

At our recent JSC meeting this week, we discussed: 

• How our oval is used 

• The upcoming World Cup, and how we could connect with this at ENPS

• Other ideas about how to improve our school

Some important messages to all students from our JSC meeting are: 

• Sports borrowing has been a great success, well done everyone 

• We will be making changes to our oval to make it more inclusive 

• Of the 267 students in Year Four, Five and Six only three girls are regularly playing on our school oval. 

• Some changes we will be trialling are:

  • Running a soccer tournament on the big pitch in line with the world cup, for Year 4, 5, 6 students. Games will be structured and supported by staff and student leaders. 

  • Adding the netball rings back to our supported play pitch 

  • Timetabling the front right soccer pitch for Year Two and Year Three students to share equitably
