Annual privacy reminder for our school community
Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy and the Schools’ Privacy Collection Notice.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy, describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.
We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use Google Workspace for Education safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using Google Workspace for Education, please contact the school.

Annual Report to the School Community (2024)
As the Princpal of Upwey South Primary School, I have the honour of reflecting upon the progress of our school each year. Once again, our Annual Report (2024) continues to show strong growth across both academic learning and student wellbeing.
This report is a celebration, and recognition, of the strong connections we have across our school community. It is also a reflection of the high level of professional learning and curriculum implementation which is a result of strong leadership across our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
Please note that from the commencement of 2025, Annual Reports no longer require the attestation of the School Council President. Annual Reports are now simply presented to the School Council during the March meeting of each year.

The 2025 School Council Membership Cohort will meet for the first time on Monday 17th March, during which Executive postions will be allocated, and subcommittee formed. Following this meeting, we will be sending out a communication to call for expressions of interest from parents/carers to join various subcommittees.
