🐶🐒🍂
We’ve had an amazing time in After School Care recently, exploring different themes and diving into some fun, hands-on activities! Our recent weeks have been full of creativity, learning, and adventures. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to:
Pet Week: Our furry friends took centre stage during Pet Week! The children had a blast creating pet-themed crafts, learning about responsible pet care, and exploring different types of animals. We even had some exciting discussions about the importance of kindness and responsibility when looking after pets. Everyone had the chance to share their pet stories, and we learned a lot about the different creatures that make great companions!
Autumn Week: During Autumn Week, we embraced the changing season by exploring everything that makes autumn so special. The children enjoyed nature walks, collecting beautiful fallen leaves, and creating autumn-inspired art. We also learned about the seasonal changes in nature and how animals prepare for the cooler months.
Jungle Week: Our journey into the jungle was an exciting adventure during Jungle Week! The children explored the diverse world of jungle animals, learning about their habitats and the importance of rainforests in our ecosystem. Activities included making animal masks, crafting jungle-themed art, and ended the week with a massive party. It was a week full of imagination and fun as we discovered the wonders of the jungle together!
Each week brought a new set of exciting experiences and learning opportunities. We look forward to continuing our adventures and discovering more themes in the weeks to come. Stay tuned for more fun in After School Care!
Disco
Playing with lights has been so much fun. The themes of our room has been disco and we have definitely been discoing it up. Our clean ups consist of major fun and dance and the disco lights and balls have been the activity of choice! Even creating a doll house disco for our stuffed animals.
