Prep Sport

Over the past few weeks, our Prep students have been developing their skipping skills, focusing on coordination, balance, rhythm, and persistence. Students have practised swinging the rope correctly, completing single skips, and participating in partner and group activities while building confidence and having fun.

Year 1/2 Sport

Our Year 1/2 students have also been working hard on their skipping skills, with a particular focus on rhythm, timing, and control. Students have practised completing consecutive skips and have enjoyed participating in partner and group challenges that encouraged teamwork, perseverance, and the celebration of personal achievements.

Year 3–6 Sport

Our Year 3–6 students have been developing their skills in net sports, with a focus on tennis and volleyball. Throughout the unit, students have worked on striking, volleying, aiming, and controlling the ball while participating in a variety of individual, partner, and small-group activities. Students have also continued to build their teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship skills while applying strategies during modified games.

All students will participate in a modified version of Jump Off Day in week 8- (Note: No Fundraising)

SSA/SSV Sport

A reminder that our Year 5/6 Basketball competition will take place on 14 August. We would also like to wish our netball team the very best of luck as they compete in the Western Metropolitan Region competition on 6 August. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and commitment our students continue to show in representing our school.
