Hoop Time

During Week 6, our Middle Primary students proudly participated in the annual Basketball Victoria Hoop Time program. We took three teams to compete on the day — one Future Stars team and two Rookies teams. As always, MECS represented our school with excellence, demonstrating great sportsmanship, giving their best effort in every game, and showing respectful behaviour throughout the event.

Our teams experienced a mix of results, with some exciting wins and a few tough losses, but what stood out most was the incredible spirit, teamwork, and camaraderie that grew throughout the day. A huge thank you to our dedicated Year 8 coaches, who spent weeks preparing their teams and were there on the day to encourage, guide, and support them.
