Justice Seeker Art Competition

After a compelling persuasive letter from a Year 7 student calling for tribe/house points to be awarded for activities beyond sport, we launched the Justice Seeker Art Competition. This was a school-wide event encouraging creativity with a purpose. Students explored issues of social justice and used their artistic skills to create works that speak out against unfairness, inspire compassion, and call for change.
The competition linked to our Justice Seeker Thread, reminded us that as a community we are called to see injustice, respond with courage, and advocate for what is right.
Entries were proudly displayed at both assembly and the Colour & Chords Arts Night. Winners were announced at assembly and recognised not only for their artistic skill but also for the depth of their message. During Colour & Chords, the power was handed over to the audience, who voted for their favourite works, giving us our People’s Choice winners! Tribe points were awarded, adding a spirited layer of fun competition.
In total, there were an impressive 90 entries across the school, with Wirri Tribe emerging as the overall winners!
