Hakea House

I’m Hadi, Year 8 SRC for Hakea House. What I enjoy most about being in the SRC is helping plan events and making school more fun for everyone.

This term has been busy for us in Hakea! Course confirmation is coming up soon, and we’re all looking forward to the end-of-year excursions. Our House has also been selling Hakea pens and wristbands to students and teachers, with all the money going to charity. It’s been great seeing everyone support it.  

We’ve got the beach, Luna Park and Gumbaya World excursions coming up in December for our Year 7, 8 and 9, which I think everyone is super excited about. Let’s keep up the great spirit and keep involved in our school.

This year, Hakea House chose The Southern Migrant Refugee Centre as our charity for 2025. 

Mr Hassett from Banksia was the winner of our “Helping Hands Hamper.” Well done, Mr Hassett!! 🤙
