Callistemon House

Hi everyone! I’m Zainab, the Year 8 SRC representative for Callistemon House. This year I’ve really enjoyed being part of the SRC, and having the chance to help organise activities and events which makes school fun and welcoming.

We have a long busy term ahead of us with exciting events coming up. A big congratulations to all the Year 12 students on finishing the year with great achievements. We also wish them the very best for their exams.

We’ve got a lot happening this term. In Weeks 7–9, we’ll have Smart Start, which gives everyone a head start for next year and a chance to get organised and prepared. Weeks 10–11 bring Activity Week, packed with fun excursions which brings great opportunities for everyone to get involved. On the last day of term, we’ll celebrate all the effort and achievements of our students at Awards Night, recognising the hard work of everyone across the school.

So far this year, everyone in Callistemon House has thrived, whether it was taking part in events such as Swimming or Athletics or supporting the House by donating on fundraisers.
