Puffing Billy excursion

The Level 2 team would like to express our thanks to all the parents who supported our students in getting ready for the Puffing Billy excursion. The day was a great success, with the students greatly enjoying the ride on the train and learning a lot about the local natural and man-made features of the area in connection with our inquiry topic.

Father's Day morning

A huge thanks to all the dads and special people who visited our classrooms during the Father's Day open morning! Our students were thrilled to have their loved ones here, and were excited to share their work. We hope all the dads enjoyed a fantastic Father's Day!

Inquiry

In the last two weeks of our inquiry unit about Australian features and landmarks, the students have taken all their learning and put it into creating an information slideshow about different places in Australia. They are creating powerpoints about places such as the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, different capital cities and more. Our students are also demonstrating their skills in typing and editing using digital technologies.

Maths

In the last week of term, the Level 2 students have demonstrated their understanding of data. They have practised surveying their classmates and tallying results, then turning the data they have collected into graphs.

Hats

A friendly reminder that students require hats from September to April in accordance with the Education Department's Sunsmart Policy.
