Level 1

The last two weeks in Level 1 have been jam-packed with fun activities. We have had our Fathers' Day Open Classroom, our Level 1 assembly performances, our AIM High awards and our amazing Mapping Our World Open Classroom Expo.

Literacy

The Level Ones have been busy publishing their information report posters on their chosen animal, adding interesting headings, including diagrams and many, many interesting facts.

Numeracy

This week has been all about money! The Level ones have been solving worded addition and subtraction problems using pretend money. They have been investigating all the ways to make a dollar and solving multi-step money problems.

Inquiry

The Level Ones have been super crafty over the past few weeks. They have used all of their research on animal habitats to design a tri-rama habitat. They also decorated their 3D printed animal ready to show their families at the Level One Expo.

Hats

A friendly reminder that students require hats from September to April in accordance with the Education Department's Sunsmart Policy.
