Beaumaris Football Club

'Girls Come & Try Footy'

As a community club, we are extremely passionate about engagement of Bayside children in physical activity. We are particularly keen to provide more girls with the opportunity to be involved in the team, fun and fitness components of AFL football. We are also heartened by recent research associating higher academic performance with those engaged in ongoing sport and physical activity.

Beaumaris Football club has an Auskick and a Junior Football program, available to both boys and girls of all primary school ages.

Having worked particularly hard to develop our girls’ football program over the past few years, we now boast 10 girls' football teams ranging from Auskick to Under 9s and on to Under 18s, which engaged over 200 girls last season in its football program.

We would love to offer girls the opportunity to Come and Try AFL Football at a Beaumaris training session. The girls are more than welcome to attend themselves, or to come along with a friend.

Please see the flyer below for information regarding days, times, and venue.
