Y9/10 Marine Sanctuary

Reef Sampling (Ricketts Point) & Portsea Excursion

Reef Sampling

Last week our Year 9 & 10 'Marine Sanctuary' students ventured to Ricketts Point for reef sampling. Studying intertidal species' populations and distribution, they're diving deep into their PBL investigation.

Diving into Marine Wonders

Our Year 9 & 10 'Marine Sanctuary' students embarked on an exciting boat snorkelling excursion at 'Popes Eye' in Portsea this week and had the opportunity to share the sea with some playful seals! This voyage not only broadened their experience exploring species found in Port Phillip Bay but also enhanced their snorkelling skills. They will compare this underwater adventure with our local ecosystems at Ricketts Point.
