August is going to be a busy month with the Children’s Book Council of Australia, Book Week 2026, this runs from Saturday 22nd August to Friday 28th of August.

The theme this year is “SYMPHONY OF STORIES”, these books will be displayed on the bookcase just outside the library.

Also, there is the Great Book Swap on Wednesday 19th August, the Dress Up Book Week Parade on Friday 21st August and the Reading in Cosy Places Challenge…. all relating to the wonderful, magical world of books. 

Don’t forget you can still borrow books for the Premier’s Reading Challenge too.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ISSUE 5

All orders have been placed online, and deliveries have been coming in and given to the teachers to hand to the children.

Issue 6 will be coming soon, so watch this space.
